Thanks to extreme antler collector Mike Charowhas for sharing:
Mike, how often do you see an official 18-inch G2 and a 15 5/8-inch G3? Dave Boland scored it. Found north of Kansas City, MO right on the KS/MO border. Four points and scores 87 5/8. Just to give an idea how long that G2 is, consider that the non-typical point sticking off the G2 is 4 inches long! Thanks, Mike
Two observations: that has to be one of the longest G2 tines ever officially measured on a whitetail; if the other side of that rack scores similarly, and give the buck a 16-inch spread, you’re looking at a 190-inch 8-point! Wow!
Mike this is one hell of a main frame 8! With those kinds of measurements I bet this deer would have topped the new world record 8pt Jason Sanders killed in 2011. The Sanders buck went 183 3/8 and had 16 and 14 inch G-2’s which is several inches less than this hoss you posted. Mike how long was the main beam on this shed?
Oh my God….please just send it to me, I’ll pay the freight cost!
