On December 2, 2014 I got this email from Minnesota hunter Travis: Opener of MN shotgun was Nov 8th, and the season came and went. I heard a story from the neighboring property that one of them had hit but could not find a "a 12-pointer.” A few weeks went by, I checked one of my cams and about fell out of my chair! Last March I posted an amazing 34-inch spike buck from Texas. Now this even bigger one has been registered at the Muy Grande Deer Contest in Freer, TX: NEW RECORD HOLDER!!! Longest Spike - 50th Anniversary Wes Wyrick (hunter) Valverde Co. 47 5/8 inches total 23 7/8 right, 23 6/8 left Congrats Wes. Man I'd love to shoot a unique buck like that!
