  Now is a great time to try and bust a few coyotes on your land before the fawns start dropping in spring. Here's a quick primer: Find a Killer Setup: Look for a ridge top or hillside that overlooks a field, clear-cut, river bottom or other semi-open area. Try to set up and call where you can see well below, out to 100 or 200 yards or more. The farther you can see a coyote coming in, the more time you have to get your rifle up and prepare for the shot. Got this from our friend and hard-core shed hunter Kelly K. out in South Dakota:  Mike: While shed hunting the other day, I picked up this nice 4-point, shot a couple pictures, looked over the fence and saw this! My question is, what kind of animal could kill a buck (scored low 170s) in great shape? I watched this deer 2 weeks ago and he looked just fine to me. He was in a herd of about 192 deer, and surely there were some younger deer that would have been much easier to kill. Notice the deer’s rib bones, which are chewed up to about 4” long in some places. Minnesota: Can this Injured Double-Drop Buck Survive?

On December 2, 2014 I got this email from Minnesota hunter Travis: Opener of MN shotgun was Nov 8th, and the season came and went. I heard a story from the neighboring property that one of them had hit but could not find a "a 12-pointer.” A few weeks went by, I checked one of my cams and about fell out of my chair! Texas: New Record Spike Buck?

Last March I posted an amazing 34-inch spike buck from Texas. Now this even bigger one has been registered at the Muy Grande Deer Contest in Freer, TX: NEW RECORD HOLDER!!! Longest Spike - 50th Anniversary Wes Wyrick (hunter) Valverde Co. 47 5/8 inches total 23 7/8 right, 23 6/8 left Congrats Wes. Man I'd love to shoot a unique buck like that!

Pick the winner and total number of points scored in the game. For example, if you think New England is going to put Deflagate behind them and win 24-14, vote Patriots 38. If you think Seattle will take it 30-27, vote Seahawks 57. Closest to total points with right team (over or under) wins.
