Mike great post! Big D. That is the funniest thing I’ve read in a very long time. The beagle idea is fantastic and seems like it would be cheaper than your generator idea. On my place in MS we used to spray paint signs that read “don’t even look this way” to post on our fence line and I would place buckets of bleach below them, the stench of bleach is completely foreign to the woods and I’m not sure if it worked but it at least gave me some comic relief.

Each and every year I deal with the very same issue an outright trespassers as well it can become old real quick. While I cannot do anything about those whom setup within feet of the property line to snipe at deer on my place I can do what I please on my side. Some of actions I have taken are: Erecting a 8’high chain link fence for 100 yds in direct line of sight on MY property, I built an outhouse on MY side directly inline with the linesitter’s stand, tied a beagle whom bawls his brains out when separated from me to a tree on MY side, fastened a leftover Halloween dummy clad in a DayGlo orange vest to a tree within sight on MY side, and my favorite of all deterents is to place a small running gas generator with full tank (run time 12 hrs) !
