Got this from a hunter, the giant was shot by a close friend of his: Not the best picture…green scored 202″ non-typical, stud.
Tremendous rack with beautiful tines and amazing palmation, this buck is destined to be one of America’s top 2015 archery deer. We will be seeing and hearing a lot more, and I hope to have a full hunt report at some point.
The sight of that giant ought to get us all fired up for the next weeks, the best weeks!
Maryland and Delaware are completely overlooked big buck hotspots. The Delmarva Peninsula, in particular reminds you of the MIdwest. If that soil wasn’t so reddish, you’d swear you were in one of the Midwestern states. Have had the pleasure of vacationing there twice now, and it’s one of my favorite places. Trophy blue crabs there as well!!
I’m not to sure how big the bucks get in Maryland but I would say that is a doozy for that area………and any area for that matter. Yes, the sight of a big monster like that can get the blood pumping. 10 more days and I am out of San Diego headed to Southern Illinois for an archery and shotgun hunt for 30 days. I’m also hunting the Nebraska rifle opener as well. Can’t wait.
