Almost 70 degrees yesterday, currently mid- 60s today. No frost, or even close to frosty night for the next several days. Might be planting things a bit earlier in N. Indiana this year???
Ours are perennial with turnips, chicory and we scrape and overseed w. winter wheat around labor day with lime and fertilizer. We have a s great success here as those who replant all yearly and only totally replant a small section after 2-3 years, We disk lightly before we put in the wheat. We don’t see paying for seed every year to those “ready to go plantings”. You can also get the seed for these items by the pound or bag w/ out the bag pix of tremendous racks for half the cost or less…..Just my 2 cents. PS we are in NE Georgia.
