These cool bucks are roaming somewhere in the Mid-Atlantic.
First below is the latest and best image that our friend Danny has of The Freak, and I’m amazed at how much his antlers exploded in recent weeks. Danny seems to have a good fix on Freak’s pattern, good luck in a few weeks man!

Mike, hope you recognize the pics. I’ve been sending you pics of these VA Bucks for
the past few years. Good signs this year! We’re a group of 6 hunters managing our herd. Added 5 new plots, now we have over 20 ½- to 4-acre food plots on 725 acres.
Will keep sending pictures, hopefully holding one of these guys in October!

Hello. Dr Bones, yea looking good so far, have 3 different bachelor groups running around, quite a few pics of them. Still havent seen 2 of our shooters from last year, but I havent put cams in a few hotspots yet… Last year was a bit of a bummer with EHD in our area, glad to see it hasnt had too big effect this year. Congratulations Kclap. Looking good. I know you had a tough year last year but it looks like it is going to make up for it this year, I ran into #2 on my hitlist tonight while retrieving a camera and squirrel hunting. He has matching deep forked g2’s on a 10 point frame with a 18″ spread. Guessing him in the mid 150’s, but it could be more. He was still in velvet. His buddy wasn’t a slouch either so…..here’s to 2015. Let the chase be a good one and successful for all of us! Can’t wait to get it started!
