Greg saw this post on Twitter and tweeted me about another Indiana giant that likely succumbed to EHD this summer.
Dave saw it too and tweeted: “Here is another west central Indiana giant that was taken by EHD. This one was found in 2012.” #shame
Two more world-class bucks that this dreadful disease killed. I hope scientists can figure out some way to battle this buck killer, but to date there is nothing we can do.
WOW! those are some giants! that’s to bad, lots of areas getting hit hard the last few years.
On a positive note, need to give Dr Grant Woods a congrats for killing a buck (split brow) he has been after for the last 3 or 4 years. Very cool!

I e-mailed Les Davenport over in west central Illinois the other day and he reported that his area got hit pretty hard this summer too. He went on to say they’re still finding many dead ones during bow season.
