Shed Hunting: Are Skulls With Antlers Legal?

While you’re roaming the woods for sheds this weekend, you might run across a skull with antlers attached (from a buck that died of EHD, was hit by a car, or was lost by a hunter in the last season or two). Got this email from longtime Big Deer blogger Dan Hermon a while back: Mike: It's getting close to time to hit the woods and crop fields for some sheds. BIG DEER friends and fans Zach and Ellie filed this field report: Hey Mike, the sheds are dropping in Southern Illinois around DuQuoin and the fish are biting! Awesome outdoor couple.
