12 Giant Road-Kill Bucks

I saw the first one below today on Twitter, and it got me to thinking about all the huge road-kills I’ve seen and posted on BIG DEER over the years. What a shame these magnificent animals had to die this way, unceremoniously whacked by a car or truck. Indiana: Huge Roadkill Buck

This is the time of year when, sadly, the road-kills start showing up. This one was was hit by a car about a week ago in Indiana. No details yet, but I'd bet some hunters were scouting this magnificent animal, and probably have trail camera images of him.

I’ve shot my share of wild hogs over the years, mostly in Texas and Florida. I knew this invasive species was a general nuisance that rooted up crops and competed with deer for food sources.
