My friends at Mossy Oak filmed this evil serpent in Mississippi. If this doesn’t scare the @$%&@ out of you I don’t know what would. Great camera work, and whoever did the edit, good job. That creepy sound track makes it even creepier. Some 75,000 views on You Tube so far. Man I hate snakes.

Season 2 kicks off tonight at 8 and 11 PM Eastern Time. Set your DVR and watch as I hunt for this 29-inch wide muley buck (I knew he was good, but not that wide). One lesson to take away from this episode: It doesn’t matter how long you’ve been hunting, a shooting opportunity can go south in a hurry. Stay as calm as you can, keep your wits and react, or big deer will get away from you in seconds. You’ll see what I mean. Mike: I read your blog and see your obsession with drop tine bucks. Just wanted to drop a line and show you the buck I killed last year on my place in central Missouri. This is the first and only drop tine I have ever seen. And to think my buddy missed him 2 years ago at 22 yards with a bow. This buck had 20+ points and NO drops when he missed it.
